Täby, Sweden – 5 May, 2014 Micronic Mydata AB (publ), listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm, Small Cap: MICR, launches the new MY600 Jet Printer for stencil free application of solder paste onto PCBs. The introduction takes place at the international trade fair SMT Hybrid Packaging in Nuremberg, 6-8 May, 2014.

“The introduction of the MY600 is a yet another example of our increased focus on product development within business area SMT,” said Robert Göthner, Sr VP and General Manager SMT of Micronic Mydata AB. “It is a great pleasure to introduce to our customers a next-generation jetting platform with a 50 percent increase in throughput compared to previous models”. 


Increasingly, the jet printing of solder paste onto PCBs is being used at all levels of the electronics industry to cope with complex broadband and mixed technology boards, among other factors. The new platform allows SMT producers to achieve high-precision solder joints at speeds of more than one million dots per hour.
