MRSI Systems’ Customer Support – Peter Cronin

Peter Cronin joined MRSI Systems in 2000 in time to see MRSI produce record results in 2001.  Peter started at MRSI as a Sales Engineer, providing sales support, demos, and product advice. Over years of supporting the product family, Peter began growing the Applications and Service Engineering Team into a multinational support team spanning Asia, Europe, and the United States.

In his current role as the Director of Applications and Service Engineering, he ensures that all products are shipped to the configuration and specification requested by our customers and supports their continued use after installation.

Peter has over 20 years of experience in Applications and Service Engineering and his previous credits include Lockheed Martin in Chelmsford, MA and in Nashua, NH where he was a process engineer specifically working with microwave modules for Space and Defense applications.

By teaching the MRSI core value of customer-centricity and the importance of configuring systems to the customers’ needs, Peter has instilled in the MRSI Applications and Service Engineering Team a service mentality and a desire to build systems that are the best in the industry.

An advancement in support includes providing remote technical support in the field, helping MRSI to provide real time help when and where it is required. Peter has extensive product and process knowledge including extensive photonics experience with various transmitters and receivers, which allows him to lead his team of Applications and Service Engineers. MRSI believes this team gives it a competitive edge, to help new customers and current customers with challenging process development problems.

Customers appreciate the extensive product knowledge that the team has and that they are able to talk to a person that knows them and their machine in detail. By using the Applications team for training, process development, and as a resource for explaining new machine features, customers value the benefits of accessing Peter and his Global Customer Support Team.
